September 17- December 4 - call for entries.
December 5 - CKMS PTA deadline for entries
December TBD (temporary date: 12/11) - Showcase of ALL entries in the CKMS commons or at CKPAC
December 11-17 - judging entries and deciding which ones we are sending to the Washington State PTA.
December 18 - announcement of CKMS PTA winners and our entries to the State contest.
January - 1st week - we work on getting our entries ready for state submissions.
January 14 or earlier - we submit entries to Washington State PTA
April or May 2026 - Optional celebration of our state entries, win or lose
May or June - Optional celebration of any National entries, win or lose.
Reflections Reminders
Here are high-level reminders for students and families to keep in mind while preparing to participate in Reflections:
Reflections prioritizes the student artist's interpretation of theme and entries should clearly show a connection to the theme "I Belong".
Student artists must create new, original artwork in response to the annual theme.
Entries must be the original work of one student only and only one student may be recognized for each entry on the national level.
