CJMUNC I is a technology-free conference. All resolutions, notes, and directives will be hand-written. Delegates may not use laptops, smartphones, or other devices during committee to write or conduct research.
The dress code for CJMUNC I is Western Business Attire.
Position papers are not required but highly recommended for General Assemblies and Specialized Agencies position papers can be submitted in person at the start of the conference or emailed to the dais. Position papers are required in order to be eligible for awards.
Delegates will be provided a pizza lunch.
Delegates must adhere to the Cabin John Middle School Code of Conduct and will be held accountable for any violation of the code or inappropriate behavior.
Position Paper Guidelines:
Position papers are due on May 3, 2025
Electronic Submissions are due May 2, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Position Papers are not required however are mandatory to earn an award.
300 word minimum
1500 words maximum (2 page limit single-spaced not including citations)
Times New Roman font
12 pt. font size
Works Cited mandatory (minimum of 3 sources)
Delegates who submit electronically MUST link their position papers to their home accounts and share them with the chairs. (Emails are linked in the background guides)
Digital submissions after the due date will not be accepted.
Cover pages are required.
