Announce the initiation of ECO PARISH transformation. ( Get support from DIOCESAN CJ )

To cultivate ECOLOGICAL SPIRITUALITY:
Incorporate a petition for Creation during Prayer of Faithful – choose 1 from this list and add to your mass liturgy and rotate that monthly or weekly as you wish.
Encourage your parishioners to join the Monthly Prayer organized by the Diocesan CJ team.

Below are things to consider for further transformation efforts:
1. To show case ECOLOGICAL ACCOUNTABILITY, consider:
wean off single use plastics from all parish events by setting a "Food Catering Guidelines" - contact us for a template OR
ECO building features in your parish renovation projects OR
install rain harvesting system OR
starting a compost pit OR a vegetables/ herbs corner
2. Recruit more parishioners to form ECO PARISH transformation sub team for further actions.
Roles of CJM/ Eco-parish committee is to assist the parish priest to move the parish towards becoming an ecological parish
Identifies environmental issues of concern in the Parish such as climate change, drought, environmental justice, or parish energy use
share ideas and recommends projects and activities for approval by the parish leadership plans and carries out projects and activities approved by the Parish leadership
Reviews and reports project results to the parish leadership and fellow parishioners
Support/ implement activities initiated by episcopal/ diocesan commission
