Before enrolling in an internship course, students must meet the department's eligibility requirements. Review the information below to determine whether you are eligible to begin the internship approval process.
To be eligible to enroll in an internship course, students must:
Be a declared Criminal Justice major (CRJU 4900) or Law Studies major (LSTU 4950).
Be classified as a junior or senior.
Have completed at least three-fourths of the required major coursework.
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00.
Receive approval from the appropriate Internship Professor before enrolling in the course.
Meeting the eligibility requirements does not automatically guarantee approval for an internship course. Students are responsible for reviewing the Internship Handbook, completing the appropriate Interest Form, and satisfying all department requirements before enrolling in an internship course.
