Cheryl is a student at the University of Central Florida pursuing her Bachelors of Arts in Film and Cinema with a minor in Creative Writing. Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, the fair-skinned Cheryl opted to watch her favorite movies and TV shows instead of getting burnt to a crisp at St. Pete Beach. She has her father to thank for introducing her to classic film-buff movies and directors, like Kubrick, Coppola, and Spielberg, to name a few. When she wasn't watching, she was creating. YouTube vlogs, AMVs, meme compilations, school projects, and more.

Throughout her childhood and adolescence, Cheryl hopped between passions. Veterinarian, Air Force pilot, tattoo artist, graphic designer, teacher. But nothing seemed to stick. Until one day in the Fall of 2020, after one semester of college in quarantine, she sat up and realized that if there is one thing she has constantly enjoyed all her life, it's the movies. After a speedy change in major and a hefty game of catch-up, Cheryl was on her way into the daunting industry that is film.

Though she has gained some experience in all elements of filmmaking, Cheryl has always enjoyed sound design the most. She is not one to limit herself, however, and wants to keep her options open as she continues on her academic journey.
