That's right, I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Game design. These are games I have created/worked on. They are a mix of Game Jams, School projects and internships!
I got an itch.io page if you want to check it out!
I also got a professional game portfolio if you want something more refined.
Battle of Nowhere is a VR arcade shooter by Great Victory Legends. I interned there Summer of 2024. Alot of my work was social media stuff (not my cup of tea) but I also did lighting and decoration of levels 3, 4 and 5 as well as animated the first boss in the game!
If you want to see more about my work on this project please check out my portfolio page on Battle of Nowhere.
Fruit Punch is a beat 'em up developed by GADIG (Game Analysis and Design Interest Group) at GMU. I was a programmer on the game. Fruit Punch stands out from other beat 'em ups with its aura mechanic. Some enemies emit a colored aura and can only be damaged by attacks with the same color. I got to coded the visual cues for the aura mechanic. I also coded the win screen and point counter.
Shout out to everyone in GADIG for their work on Fruit Punch!
Chroma Spectra was a team project for a class. I did art and level design.
You play as a median helping a ghost move on to the afterlife. You have a magical ocarina that can change the color of the level, hiding/revealing objects.
Lolli-POP! comes from my first game jam. Everything (except sound and music) done completely solo in 60 hours.
Its a game about a little girl with a giant sticky lollipop. The more objects that stick to the lollipop the more damage it does. I described it to my friends as "katamari hack n' slash"
Virus Stealth Hack is another solo game jam project.
The theme was "From a Different Perspective" and I came up with the concept of a stealth game where you can only move when you are looking through an enemy's sight. In order to make the workload manageable for a game jam, players move along a grid as an anti-virus program trying to destroy the viruses in the computer with a one-hit-kill.
