The Center for Research in Real and Financial Variables (CIVREF) is calling to present contributions to participate at the II CIVREF Barcelona Workshop in Macroeconomics and Finance to be held in Barcelona on October 16th, 2026. This year papers with a strong focus in Finance are also welcome. The call is open for scientific articles in any field of Macroeconomics and Finance, including the following areas:

-        Financial and real variables

-        International trade

-        Tariffs

-        Inflation

-        Monetary policy

-        Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)

-        Financial markets

-        Economic growth

-        Exchange rates

-        Prudential regulation

Both empirical and theoretical papers should be send in PDF format to civref.cat@gmail.com. Please also contact this e-mail for further details. The deadline for submitting full papers is July 31st. Selected contributors will be notified by August 15th. Presentations can be given in format Hybrid, not only in person but also online.
