The App may automatically access or collect basic device identifiers (such as Android ID) and network state information. This data is used solely for core app functionalities, ensuring secure API connections to our database, and maintaining proper session management for the users.
C. App Preferences and Progress Data (Stored Locally & Synced)
To provide the core features of the App (such as comprehensive civics study materials, interactive MCQ exams, creative question writing guidelines, and quiz scores), data is handled using:
- Local Storage / SharedPreferences: To save your user preferences, study goals, theme settings, and offline progress.
- Cloud Database Sync: Academic scores, exam results, and student progress are securely synced with our backend to allow real-time curriculum updates.
2. Permissions and Network Usage
A. Internet Permission (android.permission.INTERNET)
The App requires internet access to sync and download civics curriculum content, study materials, MCQs, and creative question frameworks from our secure backend or linked Google Sheets.
B. Device Text-to-Speech (TTS)
The App may use the Android system's native Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine for educational audio features or pronunciation. This processing occurs entirely locally on your device and does not transmit any voice or user data.
3. Third-Party Services
The App operates using secure direct database connections (such as Google Sheets, Anvil, or Firebase) for educational content synchronization. We do not embed hidden third-party tracking SDKs or advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) that monetize user data.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our App is an educational tool designed for students, including those under the age of 18. We treat all collected data with the highest standard of privacy. The collection of email addresses is strictly limited to academic functionality and classroom account management. If a parent or guardian believes that their child has provided unnecessary personal data, please contact us immediately.
