Background

Charlotte Morningstar was the second child born to Lucifer and Lillith, the rulers of Hell, a few hundred years after her brother, Damien, who was taken by Heaven shortly after his birth. Charlotte, more commonly known as Charlie, grew up rather sheltered by her parents. As the daughter of the king and queen of hell, Charlie grew up around the Deadly Sins as well as the Von Elderitch family. She would especially become close to Seviathan Von Elderitch, who she would end up dating all throughout high school.

Things changed for Charlie on the night of her senior prom after being seperated from Seviathan. Alone on the streets of Pride, this is where she met an older sinner who helped Charlie get back home. As they made their way back to the Morningstar's home, Charlie learned about this sinner's life. About what he did to be in hell. From the conversation, Charlie realized that while he did somethig terrible in life, he was still a good person.

Sadly, the sinner she talked to would end up being killed in an extermination while trying to protect one of the children sinners down in Hell. Charlie was devestated upon hearing this. She felt that if he was given the chance, the sinner could've bettered himself but that chance was ripped away from him. Ever since then, she's made it her life mission to open up a place where sinners could learn to change and grow.
