Elise was a human born who was alive roughly a thousand years ago and the mother of Marceline, Sarah, and Marsha; all of which she conceived with Hunson Abadeer, a demon lord of the Nightosphere. Initially a college student studying to be a teacher, she dropped out of college after being disowned by her religious parents after she became pregnant with her oldest daughter. While Elise loved her daughters and wanted to be the best mother that she could be for them, she fell terminally ill shortly after the mushroom bomb went off. While she initially died, for some reason, she back and alive again after a thousand years of being dead.
