The Civic Action Lab is ran under the direction of Dr. Katy Morgan. Morgan, an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of the South earned her B.A in Education and English from Millsaps College in 2014 as well as her Master's and PhD in Community Research and Action from Vanderbilt University in 2018 and 2023 respectively. Her work primarily focuses on working alongside communities to create effective interventions towards solving social problems.
