This App is designed for passengers to track public transportation in real-time and navigate their city efficiently. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Account and Profile Information To provide a personalized experience, the App allows users to create an account. If you choose to log in, we collect and securely store:

• Your Name

• Your Phone Number

B. Saved Locations and Preferences To enable our Smart Routing features, you may choose to save specific locations (such as "Home," "Work," or "Custom Places"). We collect and store the names, street addresses, and GPS coordinates of these places linked to your account.

C. Location Data (Foreground Only) We request access to your device's Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) to:

• Display your current position on the map (the "Blue Dot").

• Help you find bus stops and vehicles near you.

• Calculate the distance and routes between you and the buses.

Important: Your live GPS location data is processed locally on your device and is strictly ephemeral. We do not store your live location history on our servers, nor do we track your location when the App is closed.

D. Device and Usage Information To ensure the App runs smoothly, we may collect non-personal technical data via third-party services (like Google Play Services and Firebase), including:

• Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version.

• App crash logs and performance metrics (to help us fix bugs).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Navigation & Routing: To provide the core functionality of tracking buses and calculating smart routes between your current location and your saved destinations.

• Account Management: To maintain your profile and sync your Saved Places across devices.

• Service Improvement: To detect crashes and improve App stability.

• Security: To ensure the App is used safely and in compliance with our terms.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the App. These parties have their own privacy policies regarding how they handle data:

• Google Maps SDK & Places API: Used to display the map, search for locations, and route your trips. (Google Privacy Policy)

• Firebase (Google): Used for user authentication (Login), securely storing your profile and saved places, and connecting to live bus databases. (Firebase Privacy Policy)

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Profile and Saved Places: Your account information (Name, Phone Number) and Saved Places (Home, Work, Custom locations) are stored securely on our servers to provide you with a seamless experience. This data is retained as long as your account is active.

• Live Location: Your real-time GPS location is not saved after you close the App.

• Right to Deletion: You have the right to delete your data. You can clear your Saved Places directly within the App's Profile menu, or contact us to request full account deletion.

5. Permissions Explained

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• Location: Required to show where you are on the map and calculate routes. You can deny this permission and still use the App to search for places and view buses manually.

• Internet: Required to authenticate your account, fetch live bus data, and use Google Maps.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The App is safe for general audiences as a utility tool for public transport.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
