City College is participating in the ALL IN challenge, a national effort to engage students in voting. In the 2018 general election, 38.2% of eligible City students voted - very close to the national average for college campuses (39.1%) but well below the top rate of 64.1%. In 2020, City's voting rate increased to 57.4%! This increase earned the college bronze seal recognition from All In to Vote. In 2022, City was recognized as one of the US Most Engaged Campuses for completing four milestones

Shared 2020 National Study of Learning, Voting and Engagement (NSLVE) Reports with campus voting data with ALL IN
Developed and submitted a 2022 democratic engagement action plan with ALL IN
Have a current signatory to ALL IN’s Higher Education Presidents’ Commitment to Full Student Voter Participation.

Vote Centers
San Diego County is now using Vote Centers for in-person voting. These centers are at central locations throughout the county and are open multiple days. Every active registered voter in California will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the March 2024 Presidential Primary.
