Giant Lantern Festival

It is an annual festival held in mid-December in the City of San Fernando in Pampanga. The festival features a competition of giant lanterns and these were made by different barangays around the city. These is to show to people the spirit of Christmas.It is also celebrated because of the city's wide and growing lantern industry. A colorful event during the night of December.Giant Lanterns with thousands of light bulbs, beautiful patterns and cheery rhythms. A very enjoyable event that tourist will love.

Sinukwan Festival

A week-long festival capturing the soul of the San Fernando City in Pampanga.It is mainly described as the essence of the Kapampangan spirit. Sinukwan is a cultural festival featuring the traditional culture of our natives.The festival is celebrated to honor Aring Sinukwan, a god believed to be a deity since ancient civilizations. Tourists attending the festival are wowed by the synchrony of dancers gyrating to the tunes of the 'Atin Cu pung Singsing'. A famous Kapampangan folk song in the city. There are street dance parades were they wear different costumes depicting cultural traditions of the city. It is celebrated during the first week or second week of December.Showcasing the historical culture and traditions of Kapampangan.

Piyestang Tugak(Frog Festival)

A famous festival held every october in the city of San Fernando. It is an annual event honoring amphibians importance to the region's culture and environment. Commemorating old past time of catching frogs. Old days were the towns field are full of frogs .A colorful festival that you will surely enjoy!Aside from that, there are also many activities that tourist will love like Frog Olympics, Frog Mascot Contest, Street Dance Competition and Paduasan of hunting frogs using fishing rods.

This kind of annual festival also remembers making delicacies using native frogs. They make exotic foods using frog meat in different recipes such as Adobo Frogs, Tinolang Frogs, lelot, almondegas and its famous "betute" dish. Frog Meat have high nutritional value as this is very rich in protein that fuels your energy and carry oxygen throughout your body in blood. Betute is a dressed frog stuffed with minced frog meat or pork,chopped ingredients and being fried.This is a very important event as this contributes on the city's growing industry and economy.Promoting its unique tradition and culture.
