Patrol Division

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Patrol Division is the backbone of our department. Every trained officer employed within the department is a part of the patrol division, making it the most important division. The Patrol Division is composed off of Many Patrol Divisions around the City of Los Angeles to maintain order and Enforce laws in Specific Crime infested areas. Traffic Division

   This is the Los Angeles Police Department's Traffic Enforcement Division; we handle the citations general traffic violations essentially ANYTHING road or traffic related in the City of Los Angeles and are the       ONLY Division that has a Certification for members to become Pit Certified (Excluding Metro Division).
