This special issue aims to explore innovative methodologies and applications at the

intersection of open data, personal data, and social good. As the digital landscape burgeons

with an ever-expanding trove of data, the need to use this data responsibly and creatively to

tackle societal challenges has never been more critical. This special track invites

contributions that demonstrate how open data can be combined with personal data to foster

solutions for addressing societal issues, enhance individuals, and pave the way for a

sustainable and equitable future.

We encourage submissions that delve into the utilization of environmental data to fight

pollution, the innovative use of mapping and geospatial data for efficient path planning, and

the development of privacy-centric methodologies that ensure the ethical use of personal

data. The special track aims to spotlight research that not only leverages the potential of

open and personal data in novel ways but also conscientiously address the accompanying

ethical, legal, and privacy challenges.
