Conference Code of Conduct (CoC) Policy

CITD is committed to the fair and respectful treatment of all of its members (faculty, staff and students) and all other individuals participating in the international conference. The conference organizers will follow a zero tolerance policy that prohibits any type of discrimination or harassment, verbal and non-verbal abuses including sexual harassment, within JNU, at conference meetings, during meals and/or parallel sessions.

All attendees, speakers, panelists, chairs, volunteers, members of CITD faculty and students are required to comply with this CoC. Presentations should not use images, activities, or other materials that reinforce gender stereotypes or are of a sexual, racial, or otherwise offensive nature during the conference. Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior, is also considered harassment. Any participant asked by any member of the community to stop any unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. Any behavior that interferes with another participant’s full participation is deemed unacceptable.

This conference aims to minimize environmental impact. Keeping this in mind, all participants are requested to adhere to environment friendly behavior. Please do not litter, waste food and avoid unnecessary plastic waste.

Reporting

If you have concerns related to your participation or interaction at the conference, or observe someone else’s difficulties, or have any other concerns you wish to share, you should contact a member of the organizing committee. Complaints can be initially made verbally but should be followed up with a written complaint.
