JOINT
Two years ago (2017), as we were competing in FRC we had two different teams from our school (Nokta Parantez and Hisar Ravens), but last year we decided to unite to form the joint power that is Citadel.
Nokta Parantez’s History in FRC
At the FRC Off-Season event of 2016, as one of our previous teams Nokta Parantez was in the Winner Alliance, which came first at the competition out of 43 teams. Nokta Parantez was honored with the Rookie Inspiration Award, which emphasizes on a rookie team’s success over engineering and entrepreneurship skills and also their team spirit. We were also honored with the Grant Award which is worth 6000$, the cost of the registration fee of the competition. After the Off-Season, Nokta Parantez has attended the New York City Regional. In the New York City Regional, Nokta Parantez won the Rookie All Star Award and was granted with the chance to attend the world championship in Houston.
Hisar Ravens’ History in FRC
Hisar Ravens which is one of our previous teams as well, has attended the Miami Valley Regional two years ago. Hisar Ravens won the Rookie All-Star Award and the Highest Rookie Seed in the Miami Valley Regional. The team was qualified for the Houston World Championship. Showing team-spirit and structure that is expected of a veteran team, they’ve won the Rookie All-Star in the Houston World Championship in the Turing Division.
