Join us for an introduction to ethnic/racial considerations in mental Health and services offered at Youth Eastside Services For parents: Presented by: Judith Mercado, Latino Youth & Family Support Specialist and Tina Morales, Latino Youth & Family Coordinator. Tina Morales and Judith Mercado are Youth and Family Specialists with Youth Eastside Services (YES). As coordinators of the leadership and community service groups Latino H.E.A.T. at Sammamish High School and Latinos Unidos at Redmond High School, they collaborate with parents and community partners to create connection, trust and community. Tina and Judith operate from a lens of youth empowerment and development knowing that the power of youth voice and family engagement together are the source of success. With many years of experience, along with a network of other organizations and resources, they help individuals and groups identify and address problems through community, leadership and cultural involvement.
