In recent years, the field of software engineering (SE) has faced challenges in integrating innovative approaches, primarily due to the unique nature of SE influenced by social aspects. Human knowledge, skills, expertise, and interactions play a crucial role in SE, making it highly context-driven and reliant on contextual and semantic understanding.
The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly deep learning and large language models (LLMs), offers a transformative opportunity to revolutionize SE. Deep learning has already demonstrated significant contributions to tasks like Automated Code Review, Bug Detection, Predictive Analytics, and more, enhancing efficiency in software development.
Vision
Vision
The vision is centered around leveraging the power of deep learning and LLMs to address the distinctive challenges in software engineering. Large language models, with their advanced natural language processing capabilities, have profoundly impacted SE, contributing to bug fixing, code generation, and bridging the communication gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. The advantages of LLMs extend to participating in software requirement development, generating content such as automatic test cases, and aiding in computing education through interactive learning experiences
The Special Sessione proceedings will be inserted in the IJCNN 2025 conference and will become part of the whole proceedings.
