The divisionism
Divisionism, also called Chromoluminarism, is an artistic technique consisting in the separation of colours into small dots and lines, which gets combined by the viewer eyes and perception.
The divisionist painters believed that by juxtaposing dots of colours on the canvas instead of mixing pigments on the palette, they could obtain higher luminosity. The paintings often potrait social and symbolic themes, with attention to Nature and People.
