- Tap in a space enabled in the circuit matrix
- Select the item type from the list
- The types of available elements are the following:
- Voltage Source DC
- Current Source DC
- Resistors
- Inductor
- Capacitor
- Resistor with Inductor in series
- Resistor with serial capacitor
- Closed circuit
- Open circuit
- In DC mode, each type of element requires different information:
- Enter a voltage source:
- Supply the voltage value in volts.
- Determine the polarity of the element with the polarity change button.
- The input voltage source is direct current.
- Enter a power source:
- Supply the current value in amperes.
- Determine the polarity of the element with the polarity change button.
- The input current source is direct current.
- Enter a resistance:
- Repeat the same steps as "Insert a resistor" in DC. The option to change coordinates is not enabled.
- Determine the polarity of the element with the polarity change button.
- Enter an inductor :
- Enter the inductance "L" of the inductor. It must be a non-zero value.
- Determine the polarity of the element with the polarity change button.
- Tap "Ok" in the upper left corner.
- The element is entered as a short circuit.
- If you want to consult the values of the original element, double tap on the element. The inductor will be shown with entered indactance
- Enter a capacitor:
- Enter the capacitance "C" of the capacitor. It must be a non-zero value.
- Determine the polarity of the element with the polarity change button.
- Tap "Ok" in the upper left corner.
- The element is entered as an open circuit.
- If you want to check the values of the original element, double tap on element. The capacitor will be shown with the capacitance entered
- Enter a resistor in series with an inductor:
- Enter the resistance and inductance "L" of the inductor. It must be a non-zero value.
- Determine the polarity of the element with the polarity change button.
- Tap "Ok" in the upper left corner.
- The element is entered as a resistance.
- If you want to consult the values of the original element, double tap on the element.
- Enter a resistor in series with a capacitor :
- Enter the capacitor and capacitance "C" of the capacitor. It must be a non-zero value.
- Determine the polarity of the element with the polarity change button.
- Tap "Ok" in the upper left corner.
- The element is entered an open circuit, because the capacitor is in series with the resistance and the calculation is made in stable state.
- If you want to consult the values of the original element, double tap on the element.
- Enter short circuit :
- Select the short circuit from the list of elements
- The selected element nodes will be connected
- Enter an open circuit:
- Select from the list of elements the open circuit
- The app only reconnects an open branch if it is selected explicitly. Not connecting elements is considered that the circuit is not well formed
