As the story proceeds, Agastya comes up with a quaint idea pertaining to the crop circle and the arrival of aliens in his village, to garner recognition for his otherwise isolated village undergoing a plight of neglect ever since the independence.

With frames moving ahead, Agastya along with other villagers creates a crop circle in Paglapur and spreads rumors about the arrival of aliens in the village. And from there, amid tremendous media hype, takes over some hilarious sequences knitted around UFO and fictitious man-made aliens.

Rather than walking in them. That would not be possible considering the premise. A very simple one and one that cannot sustain the running time the movie has. Also a very muddled ending, that tries to be something it can never be. If you think about why they are all in the circle and what is happening, they are all quite civilized.

But it doesn't help the movie and while we get diversity amongst the characters and obvious plot twists, the movie is still not moving forward (pun intended). You won't get any answers (not that you expected them) and if you want to see a close spaced thriller that actually is working, better watch "Cube". Way better than this ...

50 randomly selected people wake up in the middle of a dark room all standing in a circle. In the middle of them all is a black orb that shoots certain people one-by-one every two minutes. Somehow the survivors find out that the selection process isn't random but that they have a say in the matter.

Hmmm, where have I seen this concept before? "Saw", "Die", "Nine Dead"; except those were all better.

"Circle" was basically an alien social experiment in which people die. But what was the goal? It seemed like nothing more than some type of perverted game in which some other-worldly creatures get joy in watching people kill one another. They could've parked their UFO over Chicago for that. Really, what was the objective? To see how depraved human beings are? To see if chivalry is dead? To see what people will do to save their own lives? In any and all cases the movie was awful.

1.) It wasn't that original 2.) There were too many characters to keep track of 3.) It wasn't explained at all. We're figuring it out as the captives figure it out and all the while people are dropping dead so you get no closer to a resolution other than everyone is going to die. And that just sucks.

This movie treated us to political, religious and social debates, the ugliest side of human beings and death. Scary? No. More like depressing. Bravo.

TNT has canceled Snowpiercer after season 4. Snowpiercer premiered in May 2020, transporting audiences to the year 2026, where the last few remnants of humanity continually circle the frozen wasteland of a world on the eponymous luxury train. Snowpiercer stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright, Iddo Goldberg, and Susan Park among its main cast members, with actors like Steven Ogg, Rowan Blanchard, Sean Bean, Chelsea Harris, and Archie Panjabi joining the ensemble in later seasons. ff782bc1db
