Istanbul has been an imperial city for 15 centuries from the Roman to Ottoman empires. This historical process led this city to be a multi-cultural one in natural ways. Ortakoy is one of the best examples of this multiculturalism in Istanbul. You will feel that when you go around the streets of Ortakoy and see the 3 well-preserved religious structures from the Roman and Ottoman eras: Grand Mecidiye Mosque, Ayios Fokas Church and ETZ Ahayim Synagogue.

Çırağan's Omnia Hotel
Our hotel is located at Eski Bahçe Sokak (Eng: The old garden's street), which is a pedestrian-only street because of its historical background. Çırağan Omnia's Hotel used to be a mansion and hosted Ottoman-era greek people at its time. The time passed, the building was abandoned. It was a ruin back to 5 years.
In 2012, the ruin was restored as it was back then to every single stair by its today's owners. Now, Çırağan's Omnia Hotel is exhibited in Ortakoy, as it was 200 years ago. Together with its historical body, it hosts its restorators' art and antique collection.
