Cintia Pirez is a visual artist and fine arts restorer with over 20 years of international experience, currently based in Miami, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a specialization in Ceramics from "Armando Reverón" Higher Institute of Fine Arts Studies in Caracas, Venezuela. Throughout her prolific career, Pirez has mastered diverse artistic disciplines, ranging from abstract painting and ceramics to large-scale structural sculpture, with a particular affinity for Art Deco aesthetics and architectural integration.
Her work reflects a fusion of creative vision, technical expertise, and contemporary artistic philosophy. Pirez works across multiple media, engineering sculptures, murals, and site-specific decorative pieces that bridge modern design with traditional craftsmanship. Her proficiency in sculpting human figures and structural forms using resilient materials such as cement, gypsum, and plaster provides a timeless, monumental character to her creations.
In addition to her studio practice, Pirez is a dedicated architectural and fine arts restorer. She specializes in the high-precision conservation of religious iconography, historical statuary, fine furniture, and cultural artifacts. Her extensive knowledge of materials science and historical preservation allows her to restore structural integrity and aesthetic value to deteriorated pieces, always adhering to strict conservation standards of accuracy, cultural respect, and structural longevity.
Her artwork has been featured in renowned collective exhibitions worldwide, including the Museo Nómada de Grabado in Buenos Aires, the Steinhausen Gallery in Vero Beach, and Artexpo New York, earning honorary mentions in both Argentina and Spain. Demonstrating a strong commitment to cultural heritage, she has donated significant works to institutions across Spain, Venezuela, and Colombia.
Pirez’s versatile expertise also extends to television set design and scenic painting, having collaborated with Nickelodeon Network and Somos Productions on major youth series such as "11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra." This background in production design has enhanced her ability to conceptualize and execute visually stunning, large-scale functional environments. As an educator, she shares her mastery by leading professional workshops in sculpture, painting, mosaic, graphic arts, and technical drawing.
