Privacy Policy
Effective: September 29, 2026
Cine Tools: Charts and Sun does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Location
With your permission, the app uses your location to work out where the sun will be. The calculation happens entirely on your device, and your location is never sent anywhere.
Camera
With your permission, the app shows the live camera view so it can draw the sun's path on top of it. The app does not record or save any video or photos, and nothing from the camera leaves your device.
Motion sensors
The app reads your device's orientation to line the sun path up with the camera view. This data is used only while the Sun screen is open and never leaves your device.
Settings
The app saves your preferences, such as your last chart and chart options, on your device only.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
