LingoVerse ("App", "We", "Us", "Our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the LingoVerse app, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2.1. Information You Provide

• Translation Texts: Source and target texts you translate

• Translation History: Your translation records (source text, translated text, languages, timestamp)

• Favorites: Translations and words you mark as favorites

• App Preferences: Your selected app language, notification settings

2.2. Automatically Collected Information

• Learning Progress: Number of words learned, completed reviews, daily streak, weekly challenge progress

• Word Usage Statistics: Word view counts, correct/incorrect answer counts, difficulty scores

• Usage Data: Last app open date, notification preferences

2.3. Permissions

• Notification Permissions: For daily reminder notifications (optional)

• Audio Permissions: For text-to-speech feature (optional)

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use collected information to:

• Provide translation services

• Track your learning progress and personalize your learning experience

• Improve app features

• Send notifications (if you grant permission)

• Remember your app preferences

4. DATA STORAGE

All your data is stored only on your device:

• UserDefaults: App preferences, translation history, favorites, notification settings

• Local Files: User progress and word usage statistics are stored in JSON format in your device's documents folder

Important: No data is sent to servers or shared with third parties. All data remains on your device.

5. TRANSLATION SERVICE

LingoVerse uses Apple's built-in Translation framework for translation features. Translations occur on your device and do not require an internet connection. Your translated texts are not sent to Apple.

6. DATA SECURITY

• Your data is stored encrypted on your device (using iOS built-in security features)

• Your data is never transmitted to any server

• No third-party analytics or advertising services are used

7. DELETING YOUR DATA

To delete your data:

• You can clear translation history from within the app

• You can remove all data by deleting the app from your device

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

LingoVerse does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all age groups.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Significant changes will be notified within the app. The "Last Updated" date is indicated at the top of the policy.
