HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

You may purchase your tickets through the following:

You may also purchase your tickets at the ticket booth on the day of the screening. Just make sure to check the seat availability before proceeding to Cinematheque Centre Manila as tickets will be sold on first-come, first-serve basis.

ARE CASHLESS PAYMENTS ACCEPTED?

At the moment, we can only accept GCash and Maya for cashless payment made through either online or onsite.

I FILLED UP THE TICKET RESERVATION FORM BUT DID NOT RECEIVE THE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS. HOW DO I FOLLOW UP?

Our online reservation form is manually checked by our Cinematheque Officer. Kindly wait for an hour to receive the payment instructions. Submission of forms made after 6PM will be reviewed the following day. If you have not received the payment instructions within 2 hours, please reach us out through our Facebook page or through email at cinemathequemanila@fdcp.gov.ph.

DO YOU HAVE DISCOUNTS FOR PWD/SENIOR?

Yes. PWD and Senior Citizen can avail 20% discount. Just present or email your PWD or Senior Citizen ID to avail the discount.

CAN I REFUND/CANCEL MY TICKET/S?

Refunds for tickets are only permissible if the request is submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled film screening. In such instances, the sole available recourse is to transfer the ticket to another individual or select an alternative upcoming screening, subject to availability, provided that prior notification has been given.

IS CINEMATHEQUE CENTRE MANILA SCREENING FREE FILMS?

YES. Cinematheque Centre Manila conducts free film screenings. Check out the screening schedule page for updates on free films.

HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR THE FREE FILM SCREENINGS AND EVENTS?

Check the screening schedule page for updates on free films and the registration links or message us at our Facebook page for inquiries.

I SIGNED UP FOR A FREE FILM SCREENING/EVENT BUT DID NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL. AM I AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO THE LIST?

For free film screenings, registrants who signed up  are automatically added to the list but will still be on a first-come, first-served basis. Thus, those who signed up will be prioritized until 10 minutes before the start of the film screening. 

For special events, please contact us through our Facebook page to follow up your confirmation.

Please be advised that we will be posting an announcement should a free film screening requires a registration or will be open for walk-ins in a first-come, first serve basis.

DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS FOR FREE FILM SCREENINGS OR SPECIAL EVENTS?

For special events, no. Registration links will be posted in our social media sites.

IS CINEMATHEQUE CENTRE MANILA OPEN ON WEEKENDS?

Cinematheque Centre Manila is open on weekends depending on the events or screening schedule. Furthermore, Cinematheque Centre Manila usually programs screenings from Tuesday to Saturday only. You may refer to the schedule tab for more information or reach us through cinemathequemanila@fdcp.gov.ph or through our Cinematheque Centre Manila Facebook page.

HOW TO GET TO CINEMATHEQUE CENTRE MANILA?

For commuters, you may take the following:

DO YOU HAVE PARKING SPACE OR PARKING LOT NEARBY?

The nearest pay parking within the vicinity is in UN Square Parking that is 2 minutes walk from the Cinematheque.

For motorcycles, you may street park outside the Cinematheque Centre Manila. 

DO YOU HAVE A SNACK BAR IN CINEMATHEQUE CENTRE MANILA?

Currently, we do not sell snacks in Cinematheque Centre Manila but there are stores, restaurants and cafes within the area, particularly, in UN Square and across the Taft Avenue.

ARE FOOD AND DRINKS ALLOWED INSIDE THE THEATER?

No. To maintain our facility, we enforce strict regulations prohibiting eating and drinking inside the cinema. Only bottled water is permitted for consumption within the cinema premises. However, other food and beverages may be enjoyed in designated eating areas located outside the cinema.

HOW DO I BOOK FOR VENUE RENTAL?

WHAT TYPE OF EVENTS/ACTIVITIES CAN WE USE THE CCM FOR?

The Cinematheque Centres allow venue rentals for events and other activities that are in line with FDCP’s mandate and thrusts to further develop the film industry. Please refer to rental page for more information. For non-film related events or activities, please contact us at cinemathequemanila@fdcp.gov.ph.

HOW MUCH IS THE RENTAL FEE?

Venue rental of Cinematheque Centre Manila is at P1,500.00 per hour with minimum of 4 hours on weekdays and 6 hours on weekends. Additional fees may apply depending on the type of use. Email us at cinemathequemanila@fdcp.gov.ph for quotation.
