The Resident Evil Series
More than appropriate for the current world situation, the Resident Evil series takes place during the aftermath of a virus that takes over the world. While Netflix doesn't have the first movie on there, they do have the second, third, and fourth movie in the series (the order is Apocalypse, Extinction, and Afterlife.)
A Haunted House & Scary Movie 2
These two horror parody movies are super funny and great for your days stuck inside! The first Scary Movie is on Netflix too, but Scary Movie 2 is personal favorite of mine. While they're great movies, I definitely don't recommend watching these movies with children though.
Spring Breakers
What could be a better movie to watch on your extended spring break? This R-rated crime drama is a very interesting film to watch during your time off. This is another movie you probably shouldn't watch with your kids, though.
Candyman & Terrifier
These two horror films might be scarier than the toilet paper shortage. While Candyman is a classic horror film, Terrifier is a newer movie that isn't as popular. DO NOT watch Terrifier with your children though, it's extremely gory and very inappropriate.
3 Days To Kill
This Kevin Costner action movie is a great spy thriller to watch while you kill your time at home.
My Best Friend's Wedding
While this movie classifies more as chick flick, it's a amusing romance drama with a great soundtrack and a captivating plot. This would be great for your girls night in (quarantine.)
Heathers
This cult classic, click flick, teen drama is a personal favorite of mine. If you haven't seen it, you need to. It's one of those classic 80's movies that you can't die without seeing.
A Quiet Place
If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out. This 2018 horror flick has helped redefined the meaning of the genre and was a very popular movie the year it came out. I highly recommend this movie, even is you aren't really into horror movies!

The Avengers
This family-friendly, iconic movie is great to watch during your time inside! Feel the nostalgia as you go back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and watch where the Avengers began.
True Grit (2010) & Sherlock Holmes
Two movies that my dad really enjoyed, I highly recommend these fun, adventurous flicks. Both PG-13 with historical contexts, these are great movies with to watch with your families! You might cry during True Grit, through. Just warning you!
Heredity & Midsommar
These Ari Aster films are two of my personal favorite modern horror films. These dark, crazy movies take you where you never expect to go. While Midsommar has less jump scares, it is definitely the darker of the two movies. So if you are wanting more of a "traditional" horror movie, Hereditary would be a better pick. I DO NOT recommend watching these with children due to mature content in both movies.
