Il Cinema Ritrovato is an annual film festival that takes place in Bologna, Italy. It screens classics, retrospectives and showcases the latest films restored by the Cineteca di Bologna. Il Cinema Ritrovato ON TOUR in Maryland
Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour at UMD is organized by the Italian Program in collaboration with the Program in Cinema and Media Studies.
The third event of the series was held on March 9-12, 2023. In Fall 2022, we joined the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini. In Spring 2022, we hosted the first "Cinema Ritrovato on TOUR" at the Old Greenbelt Theatre, Greenbelt, MD.
