Welcome to Cinefy. By downloading, installing, or using the Cinefy application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Cinefy is a movie and TV show tracking application that allows users to discover titles, track what they watch, manage favorites and watchlists, share content in a social feed, and receive personalized recommendations. The App uses data from The Movie Database (TMDB) API to provide movie and TV show information.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cinefy. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
Cinefy allows users to post content in the social feed, including text, comments, and linked media. By posting content, you agree that:
You will not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
You will not post spoilers without appropriate warnings.
You will not use the platform for spam, advertising, or solicitation.
Content may be moderated automatically using AI-based moderation tools.
Cinefy reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
You retain ownership of your content, but grant Cinefy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the App.
Cinefy offers an optional premium subscription ("Cinefy Premium") that removes all advertisements from the App. Cinefy Premium is available as:

Annual subscription
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase.
If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) according to their respective refund policies. Cinefy does not process refunds directly.
The free version of Cinefy displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of these advertisements. Cinefy Premium subscribers will not see any advertisements.
Cinefy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Cinefy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Movie and TV show data is provided by TMDB. Cinefy is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
All movie posters, images, and related media are the property of their respective owners.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to it.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Harvest or collect information about other users without their consent.
Use automated scripts to collect information from or interact with the App.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Cinefy makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's reliability, availability, or accuracy of content. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinefy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
