Atari 7800
WHOA! Almost every sealed game has been sold due to a large order. And now all I have left are a few loose games. I still have several boxed consoles and joysticks and joypads. But there is scant left from what used to be a complete collection plus dozens of duplicates.
7800
Recognize the white box on the right? Originally, collectors found a special deal at Famous Brand Electronics of a 7800 system (often refurbished) packaged with a box of 40 somewhat random 2600 and 7800 games. The box was just the right size to contain 40 Atari games. Later, around Christmas, these packages showed up at Sutherlands Hardware stores in Kansas City. Neither of these chains were anywhere near me, but that didn't stop me from picking up at least a dozen of these by mail order. It was a big help in completing the Atari released 7800 games, but I ended up with hundreds of duplicates. That was 20 years ago and I still have these.
Most of these are brand new and still either shrinkwrapped or glue-sealed (some of the Robotron and Asteroids). Some have been opened, just so I could see what different label variation was inside a box with a different copyright date on it. I also have multiple copies of some of the more common titles in other white Atari Video Kit boxes :)
