Event Description
Before the event skaters will be responsible for obtaining pledges of money from friends and family for their participation in the skate-a-thon, which will be donated to the Destination Pyeong Chang fund. The participant who accumulates the largest sum of donation money will be given a special prize basket at the event.
The skate-a-thon will begin with a short exhibition from Queen City Figure Skating Club's show team. The event will then continue with each registered skater trying to skate as many laps as possible during the event. There will be music and prizes throughout the event, so it will be a great time for all ages!
Event Details
Date and Time: Saturday January 13, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 pm
Location: Northland Ice Center (10400 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241)
Cost: There is no cost for ice time, but each skater will be expected to raise a minimum of $20
NO SKATING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE!
