The Director's Cut: A Virtual Showcase

The following exhibit is a collection of films whose theatrical releases were victims of studio interference and tarnished the director’s original vision. This showcase studies how ambitious filmmakers ended up with their original versions left on the cutting room floor due to studio suits fearing a creative risk, breaking the Hollywood formula, displeasing audiences and/or commercially failing.
