Estem aprenent sobre els animals: com es diuen, on viuen i les seves característiques a través de jocs i cançons.

🎃 Aquest mes d’octubre, a la classe d’anglès, hem treballat Halloween a través de diferents activitats i recursos. Hem après vocabulari com bruixa, caramels, fantasma o mòmia, hem jugat a bingos i memory, hem cantat i ballat la cançó de Go Buster i hem interpretat coreografies per viure aquesta festivitat tan divertida, emocionant i fantasmagòrica.

🕷️ A més, hem creat una aranya ultraviolada que hem decorat amb les seves potes i les parts de la cara. Amb aquesta activitat hem repassat els colors, les parts del cos, els tamanys (petit, gran…) i molt del vocabulari treballat al llarg d’aquest primer trimestre.

🎃 This October, in our English class, we have been celebrating Halloween through different activities and resources. We have learned vocabulary such as witch, candies, ghost, and mummy. We played bingo and memory games, sang and danced to the Go Buster Halloween song, and performed fun choreographies to enjoy this exciting and spooky celebration.

🕷️ We also created a UV spider, which we decorated with its little legs and the parts of the face. Through this activity, we reviewed colors, body parts, sizes (small, big…), and much of the vocabulary we have been learning throughout this first term.

ENGLISH

we want to explain that we are learning prepositions of place in a fun and engaging way using a very famous car. The children really enjoy the activity, as they have to find the car and describe where it is using this new vocabulary.

They practice expressions like “in,” “on,” “under,” “next to,” and “behind” while exploring and playing. This makes learning more interactive and helps them remember the vocabulary more easily.

The students are very motivated and have a great time searching for the car and using English to describe its location!

CATALÀ

Volem explicar que estem aprenent les preposicions de lloc d’una manera divertida i motivadora, utilitzant un cotxe molt famós. Els infants gaudeixen molt de l’activitat, ja que han de trobar el cotxe i descriure on és fent servir aquest nou vocabulari.

Practiquen expressions com “in”, “on”, “under”, “next to” i “behind” mentre exploren i juguen. Això fa que l’aprenentatge sigui més interactiu i els ajuda a recordar el vocabulari amb més facilitat.

L’alumnat està molt motivat i s’ho passa molt bé buscant el cotxe i utilitzant l’anglès per descriure on es troba!

ENGLISH 

St. Patrick’s Day is a very fun celebration that takes place on March 17th and is connected to Irish culture. At school, we also wanted to celebrate it in a special way, learning about its traditions and having a great time together.

One of the most original activities was creating traps to catch a leprechaun. We worked in groups, and each team designed its own trap using different materials and lots of imagination. The ideas were really creative and surprising!

Some traps had bright colors, others included paths with golden coins to attract the leprechaun, and there were even clever mechanisms to try to catch it. The best part was the teamwork and the effort we put into every detail.

Although we didn’t manage to catch it in the end… we almost did! We keep the experience, the laughs, and the pride of having created such original traps.

Without a doubt, it was a very fun activity that allowed us to learn, collaborate, and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in a different way.

 EN CATALÀ

El Dia de Sant Patrici és una celebració molt divertida que té lloc el 17 de març i està relacionada amb la cultura irlandesa. A l’escola també el vam voler celebrar d’una manera especial, aprenent sobre les seves tradicions i passant-ho molt bé tots junts.

Una de les activitats més originals va ser la creació de trampes per atrapar un leprechaun. Ens vam organitzar en grups i cada equip va dissenyar la seva pròpia trampa utilitzant materials variats i molta imaginació. Les idees van ser realment creatives i sorprenents!

Algunes trampes tenien colors molt vius, d’altres incloïen camins amb monedes daurades per atraure el leprechaun, i fins i tot hi havia mecanismes molt enginyosos per intentar capturar-lo. El millor de tot va ser el treball en equip i la il·lusió que vam posar en cada detall.

Tot i que al final no el vam aconseguir atrapar… gairebé ho vam fer! Ens quedem amb l’experiència, les rialles i l’orgull d’haver creat trampes tan originals.

Sens dubte, va ser una activitat molt divertida que ens va permetre aprendre, col·laborar i celebrar el Dia de Sant Patrici d’una manera diferent.
