      Jacklyn Kysens was raised by parents who had only limited involvement with the anomalous world. Although they occasionally traded information with independent researchers and other groups. They refused to align themselves with any major organization. Believing neutrality was the safest way to protect their family. That belief proved to be wrong. When Jacklyn was thirteen. Members of the Serpent's Hand targeted her parents after accusing them of providing information that had compromised one of the group's operations. Whether the accusation was true was never confirmed. What is known is that the confrontation ended with both of her parents dead. Leaving Jacklyn as the only survivor. Foundation recovery personnel investigating the incident found Jacklyn before local authorities could reach the scene. It quickly became clear that she had been exposed to enough anomalous activity to make returning her to civilian life impossible. Rather than administer a full amnestic treatment. The Foundation chose to place her into its personnel development program. She received an education alongside Foundation procedures and security training. Adjusting to life within the Foundation was not easy. She had lost everything because of a conflict she never understood. And trusting another secretive organization did not come naturally. Over time. However. She found purpose in the Foundation's mission. She believed protecting Foundation staff and keeping dangerous anomalies away from the public was worth the work. After completing her training. Jacklyn volunteered to join Foundation General Security. Also known as Gensec. She spent several years guarding important parts of the site. Watching over D-Class personnel during work assignments. Escorting researchers and other Foundation staff. Responding to security alarms. And helping keep the site safe during emergencies. Her calm attitude and ability to follow orders helped her earn the respect of her supervisors. Her first assignment was at Site-37. She served for several years without major disciplinary issues. She became known as a reliable security officer who stayed calm under pressure and always put the safety of the site first. Without prior notice. Foundation Command issued orders transferring Jacklyn from Site-37 to Site-66. The transfer was mandatory. And requests for further explanation were denied. Citing operational requirements. Although she strongly objected to leaving the team she had worked alongside for years. She complied with the order. Since arriving at Site-66. Jacklyn has continued serving as a general security personnel. She remains deeply distrustful of the Serpent's Hand. Holding them responsible for the deaths of her parents. While she rarely discusses her past with coworkers. Those who know her understand that her commitment to the Foundation comes from her desire to protect others from the kind of loss she experienced as a child.
