The scientific committee of Ciigales aims to enhance scientific discussions and social interactions within early-career scientists of BioLum. For that purpose, we organise scientific events, that aim to broaden early-career scientists’ scientific knowledge, to get more comfortable to present and to ask questions, and to discuss within audiences that are not experts of their fields. We’ve already set up « Science coffee talks », a seminar series reserved for early career scientists, and have many more idea for the future !

Our main event : Science coffee talks

Science Coffee Talks are the first type of events organised by the scientific committee. These seminars are reserved for early-career scientists, both in the speaker side and for the audience. Science coffee talks are an excellent way to start an afternoon : coffee, biscuits and fruit juices are provided by the scientific committee, which you can enjoy while listening to presentations of your peers, that gravitate around scientific concepts and ideas !
