Effective Date: September 14, 2026
CineFlow ("we," "our," "us," or "the Service") regards your privacy as a matter of genuine importance and approaches the handling of your personal data with diligence. This Privacy Policy sets out the sorts of information we gather, the grounds on which we gather it, the manner in which it is kept and defended, and the situations in which it might be passed on, all in relation to the CineFlow mobile application and the features it offers.
We invite you to go through this Privacy Policy with care. By installing, launching, or otherwise making use of CineFlow, you signal that you have gone over and assented to the practices laid out beneath.
1. The Information We Gather
1.1 Details You Hand Over Directly
Video Clips You Bring In: CineFlow is built around a single core purpose—letting you apply filters to video footage you supply. Clips you bring into the app are handled entirely on your own device. We do not ship your source footage off to our servers unless a capability you deliberately enable calls for remote handling.
Account Particulars (Optional): If you decide to open an account so that your preferences and settings stay consistent across your devices, we ask for an email address to serve as your unique sign-in. You may also choose a password. Beyond this, we seek no further identifying particulars.
Correspondence You Send: Should you write to us with a complaint, a question, or a suggestion, we may hold on to what you send, which ordinarily means your email address together with the substance of your message.
1.2 Details We Pick Up On Our Own
Technical and Activity Indicators: As you put CineFlow to use, we may quietly note certain technical and activity indicators—your handset brand and model, operating system edition, app build number, fault traces, timing readings, which filters get applied and how often, and aggregate patterns revealing how the various tools get used.
Device Clearances: To pull video files from your library and to write filtered results back to your device, we need storage access clearance. Every clearance request comes with a plain-language explanation, and we seek your affirmative agreement before anything is accessed.
2. What We Do With the Information
We turn the information we gather toward the following ends:
- Running and keeping up CineFlow's essential capability, namely importing clips, applying filters, and saving your finished results;
- Carrying out the particular filter selections you make and producing the resulting output files;
- Raising application steadiness, speed, and everyday usability;
- Catching and mending software faults, timing hiccups, and other technical snags;
- Fielding support conversations, answering user questions, and feeding suggestions into later releases;
- Upholding the security posture and operational soundness of the Service; and
- Meeting legal duties, regulatory expectations, court directives, or official government demands.
3. Situations Where Information May Be Passed On
We do not commercialize or trade your personal data or your source video files. Passing information along happens only within these tightly drawn scenarios:
When You Ask Us To: We may hand information over when you clearly instruct us or request that we do so.
Via Contracted Service Partners: We work with selected outside companies—those handling fault monitoring, usage measurement, cloud hosting, and help-desk tooling—to keep CineFlow running and improving. Such partners operate under binding data-handling terms and may touch information only for the missions set out in this Privacy Policy.
To Satisfy Legal Duties: We may reveal information when we determine in good faith that doing so is reasonably called for to comply with relevant statutes, legal proceedings, or supervisory requirements, or to defend our legal interests, look into wrongdoing, or protect public welfare.
Amid Corporate Changes: If CineFlow takes part in a merger, buyout, funding event, restructuring, or asset transfer, user records may move as part of that deal, subject to the protections required by applicable law.
4. Storage, Retention, and Safeguards
How Long We Hold Data: We keep personal details only for the span reasonably needed to run the Service, fulfill the purposes named in this Privacy Policy, settle disputes, and meet record-keeping duties. You can erase your imported clips and any related settings whenever you like using the removal tools built into the app.
On-Device Handling: All filter application takes place natively on your own device. Neither your original clips nor your filtered results are kept on our servers unless you intentionally turn on backup or sharing functions. Finished exports are written straight to your device's local storage.
Protective Arrangements: We put reasonable technical and administrative defenses in place to guard against unauthorized entry, accidental loss, improper alteration, or exposure. These include securing data while it travels across networks (SSL/TLS) and encrypting stored credentials. Even so, no electronic transmission path or storage system is completely impenetrable, and we do not claim flawless security.
Movement Across Borders: Information handled by our partner providers may cross national boundaries and rest in regions whose privacy rules differ from yours. When that happens, we put suitable contractual or legal instruments in place, as required by prevailing data protection law.
5. Rights You Hold Over Your Information
Depending on where you live, you may hold some or all of the following rights concerning your personal data:
- Ask to inspect or receive a copy of the personal data we keep about you;
- Ask us to fix any inaccurate or incomplete details;
- Ask us to erase personal information concerning you;
- Push back on, or ask us to limit, particular processing activities;
- Pull back any consent you previously gave, wherever processing rests on that consent; and
- Ask for a portable export of your personal data in a standard, widely readable, machine-friendly layout.
To act on any of these rights, please reach us using the coordinates in Section 8. We may carry out identity checks before acting on your request and will reply within the timeframes that relevant law sets.
6. Younger Users
CineFlow is not aimed at individuals below the age of 13. We do not knowingly gather personal data from children under that age. If you are a parent or guardian and suspect that a minor has handed us personal details, please tell us right away. If we confirm that such data was gathered without legally adequate permission, we will delete it promptly.
Where a higher age floor applies in your country or region, we honor that stricter standard.
7. Revisions to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as our operations, technology, or legal surroundings evolve. When meaningful changes are made, we will refresh the "Effective Date" shown at the top of this document. Where the law calls for it, we will offer extra notice—perhaps through a message inside the app. Your continued use of CineFlow after a revised policy takes effect signals your acceptance of the updated terms.
