13º COLOQUIO INTERNACIONAL DE EDUCACIÓN MUSICAL A NIVELSUPERIOR
CONVOCATORIA
El Cuerpo Académico Consolidado "Educación y Conocimiento de la Música" (UAA-CA-117) del Centro de las Artes y la Cultura, en vinculación con la Maestría en Arte y el Doctorado Interinstitucional en Arte y Cultura, convoca a investigadores, estudiantes y docentes al 13º Coloquio Internacional de Educación Musical a Nivel Superior (CIEMNS 2026).
La finalidad de este evento es promover la reflexión en torno a los procesos de conocimiento, producción, enseñanza y aprendizaje de la música en la universidad. El Coloquio se llevará a cabo los días 24, 25 y 26 de junio de 2026 en modalidad virtual.
LINEAMIENTOS
Se recibirán resúmenes de propuestas de ponencias, conferencias, talleres y otros formatos innovadores de presentación cuyo tema gire alrededor de los procesos de conocimiento, producción, enseñanza y aprendizaje de la música en la universidad. Las propuestas pueden incluir: estrategias de enseñanza y aprendizaje, presentación de experiencias pedagógicas, de diseño curricular o de vinculación, resultados de investigaciones, reflexiones filosóficas y conciertos didácticos, entre otras modalidades adaptadas a la modalidad a distancia.
Los resúmenes podrán enviarse en inglés, español o portugués, y deberá emplearse ESTE FORMATO DE RESUMEN EN WORD. Tendrán una extensión de 500-700 palabras sin contar las referencias. Se indicará si se trata de ponencia, conferencia, taller u otro formato. El resumen incluirá planteamiento o contextualización, objetivo de la ponencia, funtamentación y resultados (o resultados esperados de los talleres). Todas las propuestas deben incluir lista de referencias en el estilo APA 7a edición.
Las propuestas se enviarán, a más tardar, el 3 de mayo de 2026 al correo musica.117@edu.uaa.mx
Todos los trabajos serán evaluados por el Comité Académico del Coloquio, de acuerdo con los siguientes criterios: 1) relevancia y pertinencia con la educación musical a nivel superior, 2) coherencia, congruencia y fundamentación del planteamiento y 3) claridad en la redacción.
La notificación sobre el dictamen se realizará el 15 de mayo de 2026.
Los ponentes y conferenciantes enviarán un video en formato mp4 (15 minutos ponencias y 45 minutos conferencias) a más tardar el 15 de junio de 2026. Los videos serán transmitidos por el comité organizador, únicamente en presencia de los autores, quienes dispondrán de tiempo adicional para preguntas y discusión (5 minutos para ponencias y 10 minutos para conferencias).
Los talleres se realizarán en tiempo real y podrán proponerse para una o dos sesiones, dependiendo de los objetivos de enseñanza y aprendizaje.
El comité académico podrá sugerir modificaciones a las propuestas, de acuerdo con las condiciones de tiempo y espacios del coloquio.
Se expedirán constancias a ponentes y asistentes que evidencien su asistencia al 80% de las actividades mediante una relatoría de 800 a 1000 palabras, en la que expresen sus reflexiones y aprendizajes. La relatoría se enviará a más tardar el 12 de julio de 2026 al correo musica.117@edu.uaa.mx
Podrán asistir al CIEMNS todos los interesados en el tema. El registro de participación como ponente o asistente será gratuito y deberá realizarse entre el 1 y 14 de junio de 2026 en el formulario que se compartirá en esta página.

13th INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM ON TERTIARY MUSIC EDUCATION
ANNOUNCEMENT
The Academic Team "Education and Knowledge of Music" (UAA-CA-117) of the Center for the Arts and the Culture, in connection with the Master of Art Program and the Interinstitutional Doctorate of Art and Culture, calls researchers, students and teachers to the 13th International Colloquium on Tertiary Music Education (CIEMNS 2026), as a space to promote reflection on the processes of knowledge, production, teaching and learning of music at the university. The Colloquium will take place on June 24th, 25th and 26th, 2026 and will be held in virtual mode.
GUIDELINES
Summaries of proposals for papers, lectures, workshops, and other innovative presentation formats whose theme circles around the processes of knowledge, production, teaching and learning of music at the university will be received. The topic may include teaching and learning strategies, presentation of pedagogical experiences, curriculum design, research results, philosophical reflections and educational concerts, among others. Presenters must adapt their proposals to the distance mode
Abstracts may be submitted in English, Spanish or Portuguese. They must have an extension of 500-700 words without counting the references. It will be indicated if it is a presentation, conference, workshop or another format. The summary will include approach or contextualization, objective of the presentation, theoretical foundation and results (or expected results of the workshops). Proposals will be sent no later than Tuesday, May 3, 2026 to the email musica.117@edu.uaa.mx
All papers will be reviewed by the Colloquium´s Academic Committee and will be evaluated according to the following criteria: 1) relevance and pertinence to higher level music education, 2) coherence, congruence, and justification of the approach and 3) clarity in writing.
The notification about the result will be made on May 15, 2026.
The speakers and lecturers will send a video in mp4 format (15 minute presentations and 45 minute conferences) no later than June 15, 2026. The videos will be transmitted by the organizing committee on the scheduled day, only in the presence of the authors, who will have additional time for questions and discussion (5 minutes presentations and 10 minutes conferences).
The workshops will be held in real time and may be proposed for one or two sessions, depending on the teaching and learning objectives.
The academic committee may suggest modifications to the proposals, according to the availability of time and space.
Certificates will be issued to speakers and attendees that demonstrate their attendance at 80% of the activities through a report of 800 to 1000 words, in which they express their reflections and learnings. The document will be sent no later than July 12, 2026 to the email musica.117@edu.uaa.mx
All those interested in the topic will be able to attend the CIEMNS and participation as a speaker or attendee will be free, upon registration, which will be done no later than July 14, 2026 in the form that will be published on this site.
