The conference will be held in Lisbon, allowing in place and online participation. Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, dating back to pre-Roman times. It is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery). Lisbon has a Mediterranean climate with warm summers. In July the average daytime temperature ranges from 25ºC – 30ºC.
The venue of CiE will be the campus of the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. We will use three conference rooms in Building C6: 6.1.36, 6.2.53 e 6.2.56.
The university campus is located at Campo Grande 016, 1749-016 Lisbon.
The campus has good accessibility. It is located just 10–15 minutes from the airport and 15–20 minutes from downtown Lisbon. The area is served by several bus routes, two metro lines (green line and yellow line), and dedicated cycle paths, ensuring convenient access by public transport or bicycle.
