ABOUT US
Welcome to the Computational Imaging and Data Science (CIDS) Group at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM). We focus on the development of algorithms that can delve into the theoretical and mathematical aspects of imaging and which also hold immense potential for practical applications, particularly in assisting clinicians to achieve early and precise diagnoses. Our research interest lies in the realm of computational imaging methods, with a special emphasis on regularization, compressed sensing, and deep learning for medical image reconstruction. This exploration also extends to image analysis techniques and other computational methods tailored for medical imaging. Within the realm of deep learning, our pursuits include the development of computationally efficient lightweight models strategically designed for deployment in point-of-care medical imaging applications. PROSPECTIVE PH.D. CANDIDATES
If you are interested in joining our lab for a PhD, it will be through IISER-TVM's PhD program. Having fellowships from CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR would greatly help your candidature. Additionally, PhD candidates can also explore opportunities to join our lab through the Women in Science and Engineering-KIRAN (WISE-KIRAN) Scheme.
