WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

The purpose of the unit is to gather intelligence, plan and conduct operations, and work with other law enforcement agencies to improve public safety. They are trained to handle complex and dangerous situations and often work undercover to gather intelligence and apprehend high-profile criminals. Additionally, they play a critical role in supporting national security efforts and maintaining law and order in the Philippine National Police (TPNP) community.
