Teaching Experiences
Primary instructor of IE/CBE/ME/MSE/NE 483: Introduction of Reliability Engineering (Fall 2026) [Syllabus]
The University of Tennessee Knoxville | Level: senior/beginning graduate | Class size: 85
This course presents an introduction to the concepts and methods of reliability engineering. Topics covered include reliability and hazard rate functions, theoretical failure distributions, redundancy, state-dependent systems, reliability allocation, fault tree analysis, analysis of failure data and reliability testing.
This is one of the courses required for the UTK Reliability and Maintainability certificate, and for the MS degree in Reliability & Maintainability Engineering (RME).
