DhampirClaw Games develops and operates Crimson Image Converter. This Privacy Policy explains how the app accesses, uses, stores, and shares information, including in test releases.
1. Images, PDFs, and Local Processing
Image conversion, resizing, GIF creation, and PDF processing take place on your device. We do not upload your selected files, their contents, or your conversion history to our servers, Firebase, or advertising services.
The app accesses files you select through Android’s photo picker or file picker. On supported older Android versions, you may also grant access to a selected output folder. The app does not request unrestricted access to all files on your device.
The app stores settings, daily usage counters, and a history of up to 20 recent operations locally. Temporary files are used during processing and removed through cleanup procedures.
If you choose to share an output through another app or use a cloud storage provider, that service handles the information under its own privacy policy.
You can use Free features as a guest without creating an anonymous Firebase account. Google sign-in is used for account features and, when available, subscription purchases and restoration.
If you sign in, the app and Firebase Authentication process your email address, Google account identifier, Firebase user identifier, and authentication information. The app stores your linked account identifier and email locally to maintain the session and account association. We do not receive your Google password.
Firebase may also process IP addresses and technical request information for authentication, security, and abuse prevention. See Firebase’s privacy information.
Free versions may display advertisements through Google AdMob. The current test release uses official Google test advertisements.
When advertisements are enabled, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share IP addresses, advertising or app identifiers, app and advertisement interactions, and diagnostic information. This supports advertising delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. An IP address may be used to estimate approximate location.
The app does not request precise GPS location. You can manage your advertising identifier through Android settings.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscription purchasing and server-side subscription verification are not enabled in the current test release.
When subscriptions become available, payments will be processed by Google Play Billing. We will not receive your full payment card details.
Subscription verification may process account identifiers, purchase tokens, product identifiers, subscription status, expiration dates, and verification records. These records will support subscription access, restoration, account ownership, trial eligibility, and refund or cancellation handling.
Before activating additional subscription services, we will update this policy to describe the verification providers, storage, and retention practices actually used. Your images and PDFs will remain outside subscription verification.
5. Support and Information Sharing
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you voluntarily send. We use this information to respond and resolve your request.
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by Google and Firebase for the services described above, disclosed when required by law, or shared through an action you initiate.
6. Security and International Processing
We use Android’s application storage protections and the security mechanisms provided by our service providers. Google and Firebase services use encrypted connections for data transmission. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Account and advertising information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, according to the relevant provider’s practices. See Firebase’s processing and security information.
Local settings and history remain until you clear them, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Clearing conversion history does not delete exported files. Files saved to shared storage may remain after uninstallation.
Authentication records remain until the associated app account is deleted. Service-provider logs and backups follow their published retention schedules.
Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle requests and meet applicable obligations.
8. Your Choices and Account Deletion
You can clear conversion history within the app and remove local app data through Android settings.
To request deletion of your Crimson Image Converter account and associated personal information, email vladphyretepes@gmail.com with the subject “Crimson Image Converter — Account Deletion.” Use the email address associated with your app account where possible. We may verify account ownership before completing the request.
We will delete the relevant account and associated personal information, except for limited records necessary for legal obligations, security, or fraud prevention. Any applicable retention exception will be explained when handling your request. Deleting your app account does not delete your Google account.
If you have an active subscription in a future release, manage or cancel it through Google Play separately. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. See Google Play subscription management.
Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information. Contact us to make a request.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental authorization is required. If you believe a child has provided information without the necessary authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date.
