How to Activate Your CIBC Card Using Mobile or Desktop?

Open a browser on your mobile or desktop and go to the right CIBC website.

Click on the “Sign On” button to access your online banking account.

Enter your username and password to log in securely.

If you are new, select “Register” and complete the sign-up process first.

Once logged in, go to the “Card Services” or “Manage My Cards” section.

Select the new CIBC card you want to activate.

Click on the “Activate Card” option.

Enter your card number, expiry date, and CVV when prompted.

Complete identity verification using the one-time code sent to your phone or email.

Create or confirm your card PIN if required.

Review your details and submit the activation request.

Wait for the confirmation message that your card is successfully activated.

Your CIBC card is now ready to use on both mobile and desktop transactions.
