So during my visit to the Souks of Marrakech, me and a couple other of my classmates decided to go into this ceramics shop. When we walked in there were cups and bowls and Tagines lining the walls from top to bottom of the dimly lit but very bright (in colors) shop. At the back of the shop, sat two old men talkig about something intelligable. Since it was my idea to check out the shop I started touching everything, which I think triggers the shopkeepers to immediately investigate their next possible customer, me. After I picked my mug out I went to the man and asked him in arabic (which surprised even me!) how much the cup cost. He responed and then asked me where I was from in French and we started talking about where each of us were from he asked me what I was doing in Morocco, I think returned by asking him about his job and such, to which he responded that he owned the shop, of course. Although I didn't get to write down our conversation, it was definetly one of the most memoriable moments I had. After purchasing the cup and talking for a bit more we said our good byes and I said one day I would come back Inshallah.
