KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Prof. Hmidou El Ouardi, Vice-Dean in charge of Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, Faculty of Sciences, UMI, Morocco. He is a geologist working on research related to the geology and tectonics of the Moroccan central High Atlas, including the extensional to compressional tectonic inversion and the superimposition of several geological events in the region.
Prof. Younes EL KHARIM, Teacher-Researcher at the Department of Geology of the Faculty of Sciences of Tetouan,morocco, since 1991.
Currently responsible for the "Environmental Geology and Natural Resources" research team. Coordinator of Master "Georessources and Natural Environment" (previously).
Pr. Mikdat Kadioglu
Prof. Mikdat Kadioglu is a professor at the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Istanbul Technical University in the Department of Meteorological Engineering. He is also a disaster management expert and director of the Disaster Management Institute at Istanbul Technical University.
Pr. Antonio Casas Sainz
Prof. Dr. A.M. Casas Sainz is teacher and researcher at the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Zaragoza. He has published over 100 papers in leading international journals and more than 60 in Spanish journals. He has worked extensively on palaeostresses, regional geology, basin analysis and basin inversion in the Iberian Chain and the Pyrenees, geometrical and analogue modeling considering different problems of geometry and kinematics of normal faults and thrusts, and also in geophysical prospecting of the shallow subsurface and analysis of geological risks linked to large dams and seismicity.
Prof. ALI ESSAHLAOUI is a professor at Moulay Ismail University in Mekns, Morocco, his research and publications related to geophysical prospecting, hydrogeological studies and GIS.
Pr. Hamdache Mohamed
Prof. Hamdache Mohamed currently works at the Seismological Survey department, Center for Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics Geophysics. Hamdache does research in Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Probability Theory. Their most recent publication is 'Springer Natural Hazards Moment Tensor Solutions A Useful Tool for Seismotectonics'.
Pr. Aboubakr Chaaraoui
Prof. Aboubakr Chaaraoui's research domains include the evaluation and mitigation of risks in urban centers. He is currently a Head of the urban planning department and a lecturer at the Mohamed First University of Oujda.
Dr. Meriame Mohajane
Dr. Meriame Mohajane is a postdoctoral researcher at the Construction Technologies Institute of the National Research Council (CNR) , sede di Napoli, Italy. She holed a Ph.D degree in Biology , Remote Sensing and Environment , a Master degree in Environment and Sustainable Development of Territories , both from University of Moulay Ismail, Morocco,and an advanced Master course on Managing IoT, Data Analytics and Security (Elis Digital University , Rome – University of Messina, Italy).
