If the Bible is like the ocean and your study is like dipping a paintbrush into that ocean and pulling out a drop, then you should realize that Bible study never ends. (Michael H. Koplitz 9/24/2024)
Vision for the Universal Church
Rev. Dr. Michael H. Koplitz
The church (universal) will be a place for people to find the grace of the Father, the love of the Son, and the communion of the Holy Spirit. It will be a place for parents and children to spend joyous times in one another’s company. It will be a place for teachers and learners to discover and explore the mysteries of God. In the church, the older generation can recapture the nostalgia of days gone by. The younger generation can savor the challenge of the future while worshiping and learning together. Here, we will come together to express our appreciation to God for His grace. At the same time, we share our joys and concerns in prayer and fellowship.
The church will be based upon the Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments). The church will be uniquely equipped to dramatize and to express our worship to our God so that when we are sent forth into the world that we will have the courage and inspiration to share the love of our Lord Jesus Christ with those who have not heard the Gospel.
The church will be a place for worship, a community center, a learning facility, a museum of theological ideas, and a showplace of beauty, grace, and faith. It will be a place filled with the accomplishments, joys, and hopes of heaven on Earth. It will remind us and show us how to make our faith in our God an integral part of our lives.
