In this section, just a few of the joyful days and memorable events of the First United Methodist Church have been captured. The collection includes both black-and-white photographs from earlier years and more recent color images extending through 2007. The earliest black-and-white photos date back to around 1921. Many of these cherished images were taken on the church steps, a tradition that continued into more recent times with Rally Day photos--first in front of the church and later in front of the Christian Life Center.
These photos and newspaper articles are just a small glimpse--an invitation to explore more. We hope they encourage you to take the time to enjoy the many other scrapbook pages preserved from over the years. There is so much joy recorded here, it may take more than one visit to sit down, reflect, and share these memories with others--both among the members of the First United Methodist Church of Kennett and within the wider community.
