2004 Teacher Retreat

The 2004 Retreat was attended by: Yoshimi Akiyama, Meg Arai, Andy (and Moe Min) Barfield, Dave Berthiaume, Mark Furr, Andy Martin, Fumi Morizumi, Jamelea Nader, Mike Nix, Mary Jo Pichette, Ian Platt, Shi Jie, Matthew Webb, and William Zhanje.
Many thanks to everyone for participating and making this another productive and enjoyable day of discussions.
The morning session focused on: Discussion of the course exit objectives for Listening & Speaking and Writing courses
Listening & Speaking group:

The afternoon session included:
• Focus groups on Listening and Speaking, TOEFL & TOEIC, and Writing courses
• A plenary discussion with: feedback on the afternoon focus groups; discussion of teaching and learning resources; and brainstorming of ideas for future Retreats
